Six Ripley runners made the trip to Pilsley to take on a wet and slippery course and some excitable cattle. The route was competently different to the previous year offering a much greater challenge and those wearing road shoes suffered on several sections. If you had the time to look there were good views of Chatsworth House, although the uneven ground caught out some runners.
