Four members made the 150 round trip to Wickstead Park, the first of 3 double headers with the BDL XC league. Lucy got of to a good start and was unfortunate to loose her way on the first lap, a hazard for all front runners. The men ran a steady 6 miles and collect their club championship points.

Ripley were well represented in this popular 10k sponsored by the worlds oldest christmas pudding maker Matthew Walker. Paul Clarke continued his good form to set a great time and several runners recorded pbs. Paula knocked a big chunk off her previous pb and Anne was an inspiration to the experienced runners to record her first pb for some time.
It was great to see 3 new members competing in their first 10k, special thanks to Steve for helping some of the new members.
