The first mountain marathon of the series took place at Rowter Farm, Castleton.

Anyone who enjoys running off road and can navigate using a map would enjoy this well organised but low key series. The objective is to navigate between checkpoints which have different values depending on how difficult they are to reach, within a 3hr time limit. There are 2 more races in the series with the best 2 scores counting towards many indiv. and team categories.
